I don’t try to anthropomorphize the animals I photograph, but many viewer’s do with this ant.
It’s my most popular insect image, and many people feel an emotional connection.

A print is in a dozen collections, including Penn State University, and was in the 2006 exhibition Nature Reperceived at Gallery Project in Ann Arbor.
