I love your work, you have such a great sense of colors, compositions and special situations. The minor complaint I have here is the cut off Antenna ;), but everything else in this shot so makes up for it! 🙂
We raised a starling chick for a year before she flew off when her prince arrived at our window. I had no idea they were so personable and their feathers so brilliant and colorful. It’s easy to imagine how in their intensity these starlings are liberated from gravity! Thanks for capturing this moment.

Excellent.
Wow this shot is also amazing. What shutter speed are you using on these?
As fast as I can manage, 1/1600 and faster usually.
Absolutely brilliant shot! Love the detail.
Anger, amazement, such ferocious passion. Fight or flight. These starlings are true “stars”, perfection in the moment!. Dark delight R.L.
Thanks Diane. Starlings are definitely passionate.

Thanks Jo. Always fun trying to capture their noisy bickering.
That looks like it would make an awesome c.d. cover. For some reason I am reminded of Led Zepplin when I see that.
